Junos, Coachella and the NBA: My Biggest Moments
A few nights stand out for me, and some of them ended up on our designs. Here they are.
What happened at the Juno Awards?
In 2023 I became the first Punjabi-language artist to perform at the Juno Awards, with "Summer High". In 2025 The Brownprint won the first Juno Award for South Asian Music Recording of the Year.
And Coachella?
I made my Coachella debut on 14 April 2024, in the first weekend, on the Sahara stage. The same year brought The Brownprint.
What was First of a Kind?
AP Dhillon: First of a Kind is a five-episode docuseries, an Amazon Prime Video original from 2023.
Why a basketball design?
On 14 February 2025 I played in the NBA All-Star Celebrity Game at Oakland Arena, on Team Rice, as part of All-Star weekend in the Bay Area. The NBA All-Star design turns that night into a 90s-style collage.
What came next?
On 2 May 2025 came OKAY STFU: "Okay" featuring Syra and "STFU" with Shinda Kahlon, released as a double A-side.
