The Songs Behind the Designs
Most of our designs start with a song, a record or a big moment in AP Dhillon's story. Here's what's behind them, so you know exactly what you're wearing.
What does "Brown Munde" mean?
Munde is the Punjabi word for boys, so "Brown Munde" means brown boys. The 2020 single by AP Dhillon, Gurinder Gill and Shinda Kahlon, produced by Gminxr, is a proud anthem, and it gets two designs here:
- Brown Munde Stack: a bold red wordmark on the front, and the title stacked again and again on the back.
- Brown Munde Collage: a red-and-black bootleg collage framed by cracked letters.
Which records have their own designs?
- Not by Chance: the 2020 record with Gurinder Gill and Money Musik. The title sits in heavy black type on the front and spins into rings on the back.
- The Brownprint: his 2024 album, which won the Juno Award for South Asian Music Recording of the Year in 2025. White brush lettering on the front, a moody photo on the back.
- OKAY STFU: the 2025 double single, "Okay" with Syra and "STFU" with Shinda Kahlon, printed in huge stacked letters.
Why is there a basketball design?
In February 2025, AP Dhillon played in the NBA All-Star Celebrity Game in the Bay Area. Our NBA All-Star design turns that night into a 90s-style collage, with his number 10 jersey, stars and chrome letters.
What about the portraits?
Some fans just want his face on their merch. Pick the Pencil Profile, the rough-ink Sketch Portrait, the warm Illustrated Portrait, the cinematic Red and Teal Portrait, or the loud Lightning Collage with its big green AP.
Which one is yours?
Every design comes on tees, long sleeves, crewnecks and hoodies, with kids' and youth sizes too, all printed to order.
